Announcement about the “Deep Learning” Book Publication Plan
Hello everyone,
On behalf of the active members of the group, we would like to announce that our translation will likely be published as a physical book titled “Học sâu” in January 2022. The team is working hard to complete the final steps toward this goal. The agreement between the involved parties (translation team, MIT Press, Vietnamese publisher) is almost complete. The most labor-intensive work of revising the translation is in its final stages, and sample manuscripts of some chapters have been sent to industry experts for feedback and suggestions.
A very important task to be accomplished through this announcement is to acknowledge the contributions of team members. Although the list of translators and chapter reviewers has been recorded previously, we believe there are still many contributions that have been missed. Furthermore, many names in the previous list were only Slack nicknames, not real names. Therefore, members who have participated are requested to fill in their Full Name (along with the nickname they used in the group) in the following table, so that each member can be accurately acknowledged when the book is published.
Deadline: December 31, 2021. After this deadline, members who do not respond with their information will be considered to agree with the current list and have no further comments.
